GUIDELINE

The South East Asia Association for Dental Education (SEAADE) invites international and domestic dental professionals to present their research at the 36th SEAADE Congress, held from November 7th to 9th, 2025. We encourage all those engaged in dental education research to submit an abstract for presentation. The main theme of this year's Congress is: "The Ever-Evolving AI Era and Environmental Sustainability in Dentistry: Next-Generation Oral Health, Education, and Innovation."

Abstract Submission Deadline: September 1st, 2025
Notification of Abstract Acceptance: within 3 weeks after submission

Abstract Submission Guidelines

Please adhere to the following instructions when preparing and submitting your abstract:

  1. Registration Required: All presenters and meeting participants must register for the Congress and pay the applicable registration fee.
  2. Language and Format: Abstracts must be submitted in English using the official Abstract Form, available for download at https://www.seaade2025.org
  3. Word Limit: Abstracts are limited to a maximum of 250 words.
  4. Submission Method: Submit your abstract online via https://www.seaade2025.org. Photocopies or fax transmissions are not accepted.
  5. Confirmation of Receipt: You will receive an email confirmation within 5 days of submission. If you do not receive confirmation, please resend your abstract.
  6. Acceptance Notification: Acceptance letters will be sent via email approximately one month after your submission.
  7. Original Work: Submitted abstracts must report on work that has not been previously published.
  8. Abstract Example: Refer to the example abstract available at www.seaade2025.org for guidance.
  9. Presentation Limit: Each participant may submit and present one abstract as either an oral or poster presentation. Presenters may be listed as co-authors on other abstracts.

Abstract Format

  1. Placement and Font: Type your abstract entirely within the provided box frame. Use 12-point Times New Roman font with single-line spacing.
  2. Title: The title should be informative, as specific as possible, and placed at the top of the abstract.
  3. Author Information: List the full name(s) of the author(s) (e.g., Hung-Pin Lin) with the given name first, followed by the surname. Place an * after the name of the presenting author. Indicate the author's affiliated institution, which should match the information on your Registration Form.
  4. Structured Abstract: Your abstract must be structured with the following sections: Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
  5. No Visuals: Tables, figures, and graphs are not permitted within the abstract.
  6. Compliance: Failure to comply with these requirements may result in your abstract being excluded from consideration.
